Abjad Numerals / Numerical Values of the Arabic alphabet


The Abjad numerals are a decimal numeral system in which the 28 letters of the Arabic alphabet are assigned numerical values.

Value = Name = Letter

1 = Alif = آ

2 = Ba = ب

3= Jiim = ج

4 = Dal = د

5 = ha = ه

6 = Waw = و

7 = Zay = ز

8 = Ha = ح

9 = Tay = ط

10 = Ya = ي

20 = Kaf = ك

30= Lam = ل

40 = Miim = م

50 = Nun = ن

60 = Siin = س

70 = Ayn = ع

80 = Fa = ف

90 = Sad = ص

100 = Qaf = ق

200 = Ra = ر

300 = Shiin = ش

400 = Ta = ت

500 = Tha = ث

600 = Kha = خ

700 = Thal / Dhal = ذ

800 = Dad = ض

900 = Za = ظ

1000 = Ghayn = غ
